Audit Trail in Marketo provides the change history of any object that have taken place in the Marketo instance during the past six months. This is broadly&nbsp;divided into three parts:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5980 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/rightwave.com\/rwi\/wp-content\/uploads\/AuditTrail1.png\" alt=\"AuditTrail1\" width=\"350\" height=\"118\"><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Under <strong>Asset Audit Trail<\/strong>, Audit Trail provides the details on actions like Create, Edit, Delete, Draft, Approve, Un-approve, Clone, Discard Draft, Move, and others on the following assets:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6002 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/rightwave.com\/rwi\/wp-content\/uploads\/AuditTrail2-e1490749052785.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"315\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Admin Audit Trail<\/strong> provides the details on actions like Create, Edit, Delete, and Reset for the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5981 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/rightwave.com\/rwi\/wp-content\/uploads\/AuditTrail3.png\" alt=\"AuditTrail3\" width=\"400\" height=\"76\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Login History<\/strong> shows the log of all login attempts from any user. It also includes failed login attempts.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How to access and use Marketo Audit Trail<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To view&nbsp;Audit Trail in Marketo, go to the Admin section and click on \u201cAudit Trail\u201d. This will open the window with two tabs named \u201cAsset Audit Trail\u201d and \u201cAdmin Audit Trail\u201d where the respective details can be seen. To see the Login History, go to \u201cUsers &amp; Roles\u201d under admin and see the tab names \u201cLogin History\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Marketo Audit Trail provides the option to use different filters on the basis of User Name, Time Range, Asset Type, Asset Name, Actions, and Workspaces. This is very helpful in narrowing down to the desired result from a multi-page Audit Trail log. The information for up to the past six months can be seen by exporting the data.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">While Marketo Audit Trail&nbsp;shows when an add\/modify\/delete type action was performed on an object and by whom, it does not tell the details of the change. So the ability to know what specific field or value was changed is still not available&nbsp;and remains a wanted feature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>How&nbsp;Audit Trail Increases Accountability<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nAudit Trail&nbsp;will create a sense of accountability among users and administrators by providing an additional layer of&nbsp;security letting the administrators know who has done what and when.
